The old carillon, in which most bells were by Waghevens, was destroyed at an unknown date (before 1970?). There were at one time 11 carillons in this town; by 1925, only 2 remained. Others were at Cathedral, Atheneum, St.Jacques, St.Jean Baptiste, Ste.Marie Madeleine, Ste.Marguerite, St.Martin, St.Nicaise, St.Piat, St.Quentin seminary.
