Index of all baton-keyboard chimes worldwide

Some chimes have the same type of playing mechanism as traditional carillons - a baton keyboard, with or without a pedalboard, with keys in two rows.  This enables such instruments to be played using the same basic techniques, although of course their musical range is very limited.  Not included here are those chimes which have a single row of oversized batons, because the playing technique for them is the same as for pump-handle chimestands.

This index has three sections:

Within each section, sites are listed in descending order by number of bells and then alphabetically by country and city, without regard to semitone count.

NOTE:   This index is almost certainly incomplete, because there are many chimes for which the playing mechanism has not been reported.  In addition, there are several baton-keyboard chimes known in France and Germany which do not yet have site data pages.

Mostly chromatic

These chimes are basically chromatic, with at most two missing bass semitones.
