   reports say 1956.

The College Website opens with a photo of the front of the chapel, though the tower is not visible.  What is visible here is the Missouri copy of the 1976 replica of the Liberty Bell.  There is an interactive campus map which can provide a photo and description of the chapel.  These bells are mentioned, though not the fact that they are tubular.
