Silent at last report. Intended to pick up last note of the melody of the nearby automatic carillon (BERKEL - C), playing a special composition back & forth along the streets, ending with the strike of 12 o'clock by the hour bell of the N.H.Kerk in center of town.
Bells hung singly on light poles along the streets and walks named above; probably has multiple bells per note. The municipality of Lansingerland was formed 1 Jan 2007 from the merger of this town with two others.
