   ring removed in 1978 and sold for
   scrap in 1979.
   2011Fe22: Building suffered severe
   damage from an earthquake, with stone
   spire and upper belfry collapsing into
   the base of the tower; all bells
   fell, but most were unbroken.
   2012Se: Bells shipped to Taylor for
   refurbishment.
   2014My: Refurbished & new bells
   arrived in a container shipment.
