   After a period of ownership by the city
   of Gering, the tower was acquired by
   Scotts Bluff County.  Keyboard and
   automatic controls in nearby USBank
   building.
   D.P.Griswold (1893-1954) was a director
   of Gering National Bank, governor,
   U.S. senator, and ambassador.
